Office Co-ordinator – Virtual

Location: Virtual Office (Three days a week)

As we embrace the virtual realm and adapt to 'work from anywhere' settings , we are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, intermediate to advanced digital proficiency, administrative expertise, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail, while embodying a service-oriented leadership approach and maintaining integrity and professionalism. Desirable attributes include knowledge of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori, familiarity with Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and experience in office administration, IT, and database management, preferably within non-governmental or public health organisations. A qualification in business administration or management is preferred but not essential, and a driver's license and flexibility for occasional travel and varied hours are advantageous.

Position Overview:

Working in the virtual reality is increasing. The Health Promotion Forum of New Zealand has fully integrated to this setting, whilst retaining options for physical office attendance. This position will lead this area of work for us.

Responsibilities:

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Lead virtual office operations and administration support
  2. Database and workflow Management
  3. Personal Assistant to Executive Director
  4. Offer secretarial support across various projects
