HPF has another useful resource for health promoters and communities that can help with managing the Covid-19 challenge. The resource is just as relevant and applicable today, as when it was published a while back in the aftermath of the Christchurch earthquake, with the aim of boosting wellbeing, resiliency and reducing vulnerability. The tool outlines valuable strategies which in the current climate of Covid-19 are essential such as strengthening community action, building healthy public policy and developing personal skills. To download or view the resource entitled ‘Disaster Management through a health promotion lens’ click here. The article is authored by Dr Tara Kessaram and Professor Louise Signal.
